Bacton Transport Services is a distribution specialist.

Our haulage fleet runs: 

• specific distribution contracts within East Anglia
• dedicated logistics provision for some of the UK’s leading brands, such as Aldi, alongside their own fleet
• and a national palletised distribution service to anywhere in the UK or Ireland through TPN –THE Pallet Network.

Our haulage services comprise full loads, groupage or consolidated loads and palletised freight distribution.

The Bacton Transport fleet is rigorously maintained and our drivers undergo continual training, briefing and coaching to ensure safety and efficiency. Our fleet is modern and clean, meeting the latest Euro 6 emissions standards meaning they are compliant with London’s Low Emission Zone or the upcoming ULEZ and Clean Air Zones.

The fleet consists of an extensive range of trunking, collection and delivery vehicles, ranging from full-weight 44-tonne plated tractor units to 7.5 tonne rigid vehicles.

All of our rigid vehicles are specified with 16-pallet bodies and 1,500kg tail-lifts, deliberately over-specified to ensure the safety of the driver and the public.

Our fleet is equipped with telematics which allows us to track the vehicles at all times, monitor and improve driver behaviour, minimise fuel consumption and emissions and provide real time notifications and estimates of delivery to customers.
